We’ve just reopened enrolment for our
Certificate in Community-Based Conservation.

This short, practical course explores how conservation projects can be designed and delivered in partnership with local communities - an area that’s becoming increasingly important across the sector.

Participants will learn:

• The core principles behind community-based conservation
• How to apply rights-based approaches (including FPIC)
• How to engage communities and build trust
• What effective conservation looks like in practice

The course is:

• 100% online
• Self-paced (around 6–10 hours)
• Led by Helen Gibbons, with 25+ years’ experience in the field
