Hi there,

Following on from our recent webinar, we’d also like to let SCB members know that enrolment is currently open for our Certificate in Conservation Communications (Foundation) till Friday, 27 February 2026.

This practical, online course is designed to help conservationists develop the communications skills increasingly expected across the sector - from NGOs and research institutions to consultancies and community projects.

The training focuses on helping participants:

  • plan communications activities for conservation projects
  • write clearly and confidently for different audiences
  • engage supporters, stakeholders, and decision-makers
  • understand what is working and how to improve
  • strengthen employability and career confidence

The course is suitable for:

  • students and early-career conservationists
  • researchers and practitioners
  • career switchers entering conservation
  • professionals who are expected to “do comms” as part of their role

Participants can enrol in the individual course or access it via Conservation Careers’ CC Pass, which provides access to a wider programme of professional development training.

Find out more and enrol before 27 February

We’d be delighted to welcome SCB members to the February cohort.

All the best,
Nick
