We are excited to announce that registration for the LACA/SCB 2026 Conference is now officially open! Check our website: https://conbio.org/mini-sites/laca-2026/

This year, we bring the conference to Centro Cultural - UFRGS, Porto Alegre, Brazil (see location here: https://www.ufrgs.br/difusaocultural/centrocultural/), from November 3 to 7, 2026.

Registration is a two-step process:

Important Reminder for Presenters & Session Organizers
All presenters and session organizers must complete their registration by the Early Bird Deadline in order to guarantee inclusion of their accepted talks, posters, and proposals in the LACA/SCB 2026 Program.

Your in-person registration includes:

Access to the Opening Plenary & Reception
Full Scientific Program participation (Wednesday through Friday)
Coffee breaks and afternoon refreshments
Poster session reception with hors d’oeuvres
Selected workshops and short courses
Please note that field trips are not yet available and are to be scheduled for Saturday, November 7. More information about that and the preliminary program will be available soon.
