Dear Counterfactual Community
The IEWG will be hosting a Symposium on "Evaluating the impacts of conservation on biodiversity and human wellbeing in Asia" on Thursday June 4th 11:00 - 12:30, with a fantastic line-up of presentations from Paul Thung,
Avantika Thapa, Benjamin Chipperfield, Alex Caruana, Aditya Malgaonkar and myself.
Please also make sure to come to the Plenary Talk on Wed 3rd of June, 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm in the main auditorium, in which Julia Jones and I will share the floor to talk about what works in conservation, and how AI can support causal evidence generation.
We hope to see many of you there! And please get in touch (
teamcount...@gmail.com) if you would like to say hello, learn more about the IEWG, and/or have ideas about how you could contribute to our work. We are always looking for volunteers!
Also as a final note:
can I please ask that anyone wanting to post on this listserv please email us (teamcount...@gmail.com)
before doing so - this allows us to learn what you like to post so that we can make sure it aligns with our mission and values. It's also nice to just say hello!
Best wishes,
Tanya and the IEWG team
