Hi, please help me spread the word widely that we have a great postdoc opportunity for a community ecologist in our group. Info and link to ad below. Many thanks! Anna

……

Hi,

We have an exciting postdoctoral position open at SLU Uppsala for a curious postdoctoral researcher with expertise in population- and community ecology and dynamic modelling: an opportunity to join our research on the effects of climate warming on aquatic food webs. This is one of two new positions funded by an interdisciplinary FORMAS project on marine extreme weather and climate risks for fisheries, and focuses on using food web dynamic modelling to study how extreme heatwaves affect fished ecosystems.

For more information about the position, qualifications and how to apply, see the ad that you find here: position reference SLU.ua.2024.2.5.1-609 (for info on working at SLU: https://www.slu.se/en/about-slu/work-at-slu/).

The postdoctoral researcher will have an important role in developing climate change research from its focus on warming to knowledge on how food webs are affected by increasing temperature variations and extremes.

Welcome to join our research group working on dynamics of fish communities and aquatic food webs, and their responses to climate change, exploitation and other human pressures (www.slu.se/fishinfoodwebs).

Apply at the latest on March 16th via application link that is found in the ad.
