Student seeking international exchange for senior thesis

Hello conservation scientists!

 

My name is Elsa Malm, and I am a senior Biology student at Karlstad University, Sweden. I am currently preparing to begin my senior thesis project, under the guidance of Professor John Piccolo, and I am reaching out to explore potential exchange opportunities with partner institutions across Europe.

 

I am interested in conducting or contributing to a research project during the spring semester 2026, with the exchange period planned to start in February 2026. It may be possible for me to receive funding for an Erasmus Traineeship, depending on the conditions. 

 

My main academic interests include ecology, conservation, and species interactions, but I am open to projects that align with your institution’s current research focus. I have previous international experience from studying Ecology Conservation at the University of Tasmania, Australia, and I wish to build upon that experience during my senior thesis project.
