This course offers a theoretical and hands-on introduction to functional trait space analyses, one of the most widely used approaches in trait-based ecology. Participants will learn how to:

Build and interpret functional trait spaces
Apply PCA, kernel density-based methods, and SMA regression in R
Link trait spaces to ecological dimensions
Plot and export their results

Designed for PhD students, postdocs, and researchers with a background in R and an interest in functional traits and ecological data analysis, this course combines lectures, practical coding sessions, and interactive discussions.
