Hello! My name is Katia Pilar Carranza, and I am a Seed Ambassador for the Celebration of Protected and Conserved Areas and Their People. I focus on representing the values and objectives of the Celebration in Mexico. My responsibilities center on managing and promoting the celebrations, creating partnerships with protected area systems, facilitating access to strategic training opportunities, and systematizing key information about the celebrations. The Celebration of Protected and Conserved Areas and Their People is an annual process that integrates diverse sectors, levels, generations, genders, and cultures in an annual and collaborative process to enhance and influence key stakeholders in effective conservation.

La Celebración is a transparent, participatory platform aligned with the SDGs. Join those who are already transforming environmental commitment into concrete impact.
In August, we began with the PRE CELEBRATIONS to coordinate and support activities or projects aimed at the effective valuation and conservation of protected and conserved areas and their people throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

¡Hola! Me llamo Katia Pilar Carranza y soy una Embajadora Semilla de La Celebración de las Áreas Protegidas, Conservadas y su Gente. Me enfoco en representar los valores y objetivos de La Celebración en México. Mis responsabilidades se centran en gestionar y promover las celebraciones, crear alianzas con los sistemas de áreas protegidas, facilitar el acceso a oportunidades estratégicas de capacitación, y sistematizar información clave sobre las celebraciones. La Celebración de las Áreas Protegidas, Conservadas y su gente, es un proceso anual que integra a diversos sectores, niveles, generaciones, géneros y culturas en un proceso anual y colaborativo, para la valorización e incidencia de los actores clave en la conservación efectiva.

La Celebración es una plataforma transparente, participativa y alineada con los ODS. Sumate a quienes ya están transformando el compromiso ambiental en impacto concreto.
En agosto iniciamos con las PRE CELEBRACIONES para articular y apoyar actividades o proyectos orientados a la valorización y conservación efectiva de las áreas protegidas, conservadas y su gente en toda Latinoamérica y El Caribe.
