Deadlines are rapidly approaching for two training opportunities with Human Nature….
First - if you're new to conservation social science - or want to support those who are! - join the Essentials of Conservation Social Science course on Tuesday 5th
November. This one-day online course is a great first step to build knowledge of what social science is, how it’s done and how it can be useful for conservation.
Secondly - the Qualitative Methods for Conservation course is for those who need to use text-based methods such as interviews and want to build skills in developing
research projects, collecting and analysing qualitative data. I've met a lot of conservation professionals recently and keep hearing how often these methods are used without training. These are specialist skills! We would not ask untrained researchers to assess
populations of vulnerable species - the risks to researcher, species and evidence are too great. So if you need to use these skills, join me on this course to learn in a welcoming and supportive space. This online course runs over five sessions from Monday
11th to Friday 15th November.
