Dear colleagues,
Many thanks to those of you who have already taken our NATURE Impacts survey and shared it with your networks.
We are very keen to make NATURE Impacts a broad globally inclusive project that enables us all to keep the spotlight on what needs to be done for nature, what is actually being done, and, critically, the gap between the two. We would love it if all of you, and your colleagues, could be part of this initiative.
We're hoping to launch NATURE Impacts around the time of the Climate CoP in Belem in November. Right now we are developing an initial proof of concept. We have three asks of you:
i) To provide data for the proof of concept, we would like to build a picture of how scientists around the world feel that their own countries are doing in delivering against their biodiversity commitments, and how they feel different actions should be prioritised by their countries. If you haven't already done so, we would be VERY grateful if you and your colleagues could fill in this survey (in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese): https://tinyurl.com/NATUREImpactsSurvey
ii) Fill in this form if you would like to be kept informed about the NATURE Impacts collaboration, and how you can become part of it once we have the proof of concept ready to share with you: https://tinyurl.com/NATUREImpacts
iii) Please share this email with all your contacts, and ask them to join in as well.
Thank you so much!
E.J.
