Applications are invited for a 12-month, 1.0 FTE fixed-term professional faculty for Department Head (approximately 60% administration, 20% teaching or research and scholarship, 10% donor and alumni relations, 10% service and professional development) in the Department of Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences (FWCS) at Oregon State University (OSU). This appointment includes a faculty role with indefinite tenure at the rank of Professor. The Department Head provides overall administrative leadership for FWCS in all its functions. The individual leads a highly productive, multifaceted department with interdisciplinary research programs in applied and basic sciences, on-campus and online undergraduate and graduate degree and certification programs, and public engagement. The Department Head oversees more than 35 faculty (including Extension), 80 courtesy faculty (including USGS cooperative faculty), 130 graduate research/teaching assistants, 14 instructors, and 12 administrative personnel.
