Pathways 2025: Human Dimensions of Wildlife Conference
We are just two months away from the Pathways 2025 Conference, which will be held in Estes Park, Colorado, on September 7-10, 2025. The program is live on our website - take a look at the incredible presentations we have this year.
We are happy to announce an amazing line up of plenary speakers:
- Ben Masters, Director & Founder of Fin & Fur Films, will talk to us about documentary film-making, then will have a special showing of his documentary, The American Southwest.
- Dacher Keltner, Professor of Psychology at UC-Berkeley, Co-Director of the Greater Good Science Center, and author, will delve into the overpowering emotion of awe - and how nature and wildlife evoke it.
- Tony Wasley, President/CEO of the Wildlife Management Institute, will build off of the power of awe and will discuss gaining the public's trust through agency management.
- Sara Parker Pauley, former Director of the Missouri Department of Conservation, will build on agency management and the public trust.
- Kristal Stoner, Executive Director of Audubon Great Plains, will present the unique experience of the sandhill crane migration at Rowe Sanctuary in Nebraska.
- Will Deacy, Large Mammal Ecologist at Rocky Mountain National Park, will also delve into wildlife viewing experiences by sharing more information about elk bugling season and the Rocky Mountain National Park visitor system.
