Dear colleagues,
I am pleased to share that enrolment is now open for Cohort 6 of my QGIS for Wildlife Crime Law Enforcement training, beginning 3 November 2025. This course uses QGIS and crime science approaches to make conservation data actionable.
The training is delivered online in small cohorts, with two tailored pathways:
Foundations Track (8 sessions): for complete beginners – step-by-step introduction to QGIS, no prior GIS experience required.
Professional Track (8 sessions including an advanced module): for those with some QGIS familiarity – rapid refresher followed by advanced applications, including SMART data integration, patrol mapping, and crime hotspot analysis.
Key features:
8 × 1.5–2 hour live sessions (recorded for review).
Practical exercises with simulated SMART conservation data.
Personalised support in a small-group format.
Certificate of completion.
Pricing: £400 per participant
(Early-bird £350 if registered by 18 October 2025)
