Pathways 2025: Human Dimensions of Wildlife Conference

The Pathways 2025 Conference will be held in Estes Park, Colorado, on September 7-10, 2025. The program is live on our website - take a look at the incredible presentations and plenary speakers we have this year!

Appreciating Nature's Benefits

This year’s theme, Appreciating Nature’s Benefits, focuses on the health and wellbeing aspects of connecting with nature, as well as the benefits that communities gain from engaging in outdoor activities. Among other topics, this year’s conference will explore complex issues in wildlife management, use of social science, effective communication, and changing landscapes and seascapes due to climate change and land use management practices.

Our plenary speakers will help us bring this theme to life. We are excited to hear from:

  • Ben Masters, Director & Founder of Fin & Fur Films
  • Dacher Keltner, Professor of Psychology at UC-Berkeley, Co-Director of the Greater Good Science Center, and author
  • Tony Wasley, President/CEO of the Wildlife Management Institute
  • Sara Parker Pauley, Former Director of Missouri Department of Conservation
  • Kristal Stoner, Executive Director of Audubon Great Plains
  • Will Deacy, Large Mammal Ecologist at Rocky Mountain National Park
