I would like to share a postdoctoral opportunity that may be of interest to researchers working on fisheries socioeconomics, marine governance, and fishing communities.
University College Cork (Ireland) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher (48-month full-time position) for the project FishFrame – Developing a Dynamic Fisheries Community Profile Framework for Irish Fisheries. The project aims to develop a framework for profiling fisheries communities in Ireland by integrating quantitative and qualitative data and engaging with fishing communities, industry, and policy stakeholders.
The position particularly welcomes candidates with experience in community-engaged and ethnographic research, and expertise related to fisheries socioeconomics, participatory research, GIS/spatial analysis, or socio-economic analysis of fisheries.
