Scientist Sign On Letter to Support California'a MPA Network - Deadline April 22

Please consider signing this letter from scientists across the USA supporting California's globally-recognized marine protected area (MPA) network. The state is currently adaptively managing its network of 124 MPAs, and is weighing several different public proposals for changes. Some proposals would add new or expand existing MPAs, while others would open established MPAs to fishing and lower levels of protection. 

This letter from U.S. marine scientists emphasizes the importance of 1) retaining the integrity of the current CA MPA network, and 2) strengthening the network where strategic in the face of climate change and growing stressors.
