XPRIZE Rainforest Early Registration Deadline is Approaching

Dear Latin America & Caribbean SCB Chapter,

The XPRIZE Rainforest early registration deadline is coming to a close. In order to pay the reduced registration fee of $500 you must register on or before October 15, 2020. Once this deadline passes, the registration fee will increase to $1,000 until the Regular Registration deadline on March 15, 2021.

The XPRIZE Rainforest is a global five-year competition designed to enhance our understanding of rainforest ecosystems. This competition challenges innovators from a variety of disciplines to develop novel technologies to rapidly and autonomously survey rainforest biodiversity in unprecedented detail and use data to deliver insights, which promote the health and conservation of this vital ecosystem. The success of this prize will give the world rapid biodiversity assessment technologies, pave the way for new bioeconomies and lead to new scientific understandings for the benefit of  humanity.
