Funded Master's Position Available

The Human Dimensions of Wildlife lab at the University of Maine is seeking applicants for a Master's research assistant starting September 2017. We are looking for a talented student interested in examining social science aspects of wildlife conservation in the north east (USA and Canada). 

Successful candidates should have a strong background in biology, ecology, environmental science, environmental/conservation anthropology. Data collection and analysis will be through a questionnaire. Specific course or work experience with relevant tools will be of especially high value, including: theory, data collection and analysis techniques, and statistics.

The position is for 2 years. Interested students can send a cover letter, CV, copies of transcripts, 3 names of references and GRE scores. Deadline for applications is June 16th, 2017.
