The Society for Human Ecology’s 21st international conference (SHEXXII) is themed Envisioning Pathways to Just and Sustainable Futures: Celebrating diversity, pursuing integration, and developing livable communities. There are four focus sub-themes in Health, Ageing, and Demographic Change, Sustainable Cities and Landscapes, Food and Water Systems, and Communities in Transition: Implications for rural resilience, biodiversity, and tourism. There are over 30 organized symposia and workshop sessions from all around the world now confirmed, plus dozens of individual papers. Keynote speakers include ASEAN Deputy Secretary General for Socio-Cultural Affairs with his opening address on Mega Trends in South East Asia. There is still time, and space, for you to join what is building to be a really great Human Ecology Conference, but the call for papers closes on 15 September, so get your abstracts in.
