The Social Sciences Working Group (SSWG) of the Society for Conservation Biology is excited to announce the start of its 2017 Board election!

The election is open now through Tuesday 20 June

SSWG members will vote to fill four seats on the Board:

  • 3 Members-at-Large
  • 1 Student-at-Large

Know the Candidates Before You Vote!
Learn about each candidate on the SSWG Election Candidates Profile page on the SCB website. Each candidate submitted a CV and a statement to explain why they want to serve on the SSWG board and how they can help SSWG advance its mission.

How to Vote
Only SSWG members are eligible to vote. Follow these steps to access the ballot and cast your vote:

  1. Review the candidates on the SSWG Candidates' Profile page.
  2. Log in to your SCB member home page (click "Member Login" at the top of the Candidates' Profile page).
  3. After you log in to your home page, click the link for the SSWG Election in the blue box.
