Best Practices for Religious/Indigenous Community Interaction
Have you interacted with religious or indigenous communities when conducting or implementing research? If so, please share the best practices you experienced by responding no later than July 15 to the brief survey initiated by the SCB's Religion and Conservation Biology Working Group. Responses to this survey will be compiled and planning will commence to share findings at the 2017 ICCB in Cartagena during a symposium. It will be followed by a workshop at which best practice guidelines will be drafted and submitted subsequently to the SCB Board of Governors. An explanation of this project can be accessed at
