Conservation policy assumes that national parks and protected areas (PAs) are permanent fixtures on the landscape, but recent research demonstrates widespread PA downgrading, downsizing, and degazettement (PADDD).  In this webinar, learn about:

·         the results of the most recent WWF research on PADDD, including global patterns of PADDD, and the  implications of PADDD for REDD and forest carbon

·         A new pubic release PADDD dataset

·         Latest news on PADDDtracker.org, our crowd-sourced site for mapping & monitoring PADDD

If you have a specific questions that you would like to ask about PADDD research, the PADDD dataset, or PADDDtracker.org, please email your questions to roopa....@gmail.com.
