The Environmental Leadership & Training Initiative (ELTI) at Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies will be  be offering an online course open for public enrollment entitled, “Tropical Forest Restoration in Human-Dominated Landscapes.” Application deadline is September 1, 2017


ELTI invites participants to explore the social, biological, and political processes that shape reforestation and forest restoration in tropical regions. This course is designed for a diverse audience, including management professionals, policy makers, mid-career practitioners and others involved with natural resource management, land use decision-making, forest finance, or landscape restoration. This course will feature Yale professor, Dr. Mark Ashton, as well as a suite of other Yale Professors, Yale Alumni, and international case studies by diverse partners working in tropical Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Duration: 6 weeks
September 25 - November 5, 2017
6-8 hours/week

$1,300 USD - Regular Registration
*Limited partial scholarships available based on demonstrated need
