We would like to call for XMR<>BTC community members to run the
automated swap backend (ASB) on test-/stagenet so we get more feedback
and move closer to a mainnet-ready setup.
The latest release of the ASB [1] implements resuming swaps (recovery)
which brings us one step closer to mainnet.
1. Set up the ASB
2. Run CLI swap against the ASB setup yourself
3. Ping us with your peer-id and multiaddress and we swap against your setup
4. Report bugs & feature requests [2]
5. Be ready for mainnet :)

Join the "community of makers" on Matrix:

Any feedback is welcome!
We are happy to help with the setup. If necessary please ping us on Matrix.
We started working on the protocol where XMR moves first [3] to enable
selling XMR as CLI user.
The Monero community has been asking for atomic swaps for quite a while.
Now that an initial, usable solution exists we wonder what is keeping
the community from using it.
To avoid censorship, we are hoping to create a community of makers
running the ASB, rather than just a single service provider.
We are aware that there are Monero community members that would be
interested in providing some liquidity, but so far nobody has reached
out to us with a running ASB setup.
This software is still young it is highly recommended to run the ASB on
test-/stagenet for some time for testing, so the community can move
towards running it on mainnet.
happy swapping,
the COMIT guys
