Hello Columbus Pride Bands!
We have an exciting new performance opportunity and I really hope you’ll consider being part of it. We’ve been invited to assemble a pep band for Pride Night at Nationwide Arena as the Columbus Fury (women’s professional volleyball) take on the Orlando Valkyries!

Time: 7:00 p.m. -- Call-time is 5:45 for Rehearsal

Where: Nationwide Arena
Dress: Red / Yellow / Black top (Columbus Fury Colors).
This is a very exciting opportunity for us — we’ll be standing in the Party Zone on the arena floor, performing a pre-game set and several short, high-energy numbers between sets. Music will include favorites the Pep Band has already been playing, along with a few fun new additions. Guests of the band may buy tickets in the Party Zone as well. Standing only, unless accomodations need to be arranged.
Rehearsals
To get ready, we’ll hold 1 (maybe 2) rehearsal at the Harmony Project:

Tuesday, January 20 at 7:30 (CB/WE leaders meeting at 7)

Tentative - Wednesday, January 28 at 7
Saturday, January 31 - 5:45pm at Nationwide Arena before the game

I attended this Pride Night last year and had a great time, but I remember thinking: this event really needs a pep band. I’m thrilled that we now get to bring the PEP and represent Columbus Pride Bands in such a visible, joyful way.
