Hello all,

A funded opportunity is available for spring 2024 for undergraduates in a variety of disciplines to work with a multi-institutional cohort to critically assess the practices and impacts of computing and associated technologies on society. Please note the deadline is short: this Friday, January 5th -- but the application is also short.

Evan Peck in the Department of  Information is running the Just Computing Fellows program next semester (call: https://bit.ly/cujustfellow). Students from across the humanities/social sciences/STEM are invited to apply to work on projects that deliberately focus on power and privilege in computing.

The program will be bringing in speakers to meet with the group and will fund support for faculty who are facilitating projects and summer salary for faculty to integrate outcomes in courses. Please share widely and direct any questions to evan...@colorado.edu.

All best,

Thea
