CDS H1 - 2025-2026 Estimated or 2024-2025 Final

Hello All,

We have always used the current year estimated for previous CDS. Is there any issues with the 3 surveys if our SFS team wanted to switch to the previous years final data?

I did find in a past post that U.S. News only likes the current years estimated for ranking.

Has anyone run into this as an issue?

Hi Alyssia,

Unless something dramatically changes this year, yes U.S. News will require the current year estimate with no option to report prior year final. I have always reported prior year final to be consistent with IPEDS but then have to do a separate estimate for USNews.
