Hi, CAN Colleagues!

I hope you are doing well.

I wanted to reach out about an upcoming event I’m hosting that I think could be a real help to families of autistic high school students. I know not all of you work directly with these families, but I am hoping you can share through social media and with your personal networks.

On Sunday, November 9, I’ll be hosting a free virtual Autism Summer Program Expo featuring 9 different programs for autistic high school students. Families will have the chance to:

• Learn about a range of summer opportunities designed for autistic teens - residential learning programs, academic experiences, travel adventures and more! 
• Hear directly from program leaders
• Ask questions and compare options-- all in one place

Our goal is to take some of the stress of researching and selecting the right program off parents who have enough on their plates.  The programs include: Mercyhurst, Beacon, Beyond Akeela, Camp on Tour, Focus Collegiate, Camp Kodiak, Franklin, ASPIRE Kinney and CIP. Many of these programs will have representatives attending the Summit!
