Join us for a presentation by Sam Crane, JD, on the current landscape of disability rights in the US in today's political landscape.
Sam Crane is an autistic disability advocate and attorney, focusing on empowering local advocates to achieve meaningful policy change. She has worked as legal director at Quality Trust for Individuals with Disabilities and as legal director at Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN). Her work has included legal advocacy and policy advocacy, including workplace accommodations, increased access to supported decision-making, community-based services, and health care. She currently serves as board chair of ASAN. Sam also served as a staff attorney at the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law, focusing on enforcing the right to community integration, and an associate at the litigation firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart, & Sullivan, L.L.P., where she focused on patent and securities litigation. Sam is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
