Hi everyone,

Thanks again to Dr. Sam Brandsen, Shealtiel Weekes, and Liza Tomczuk for presenting their compelling work on BIPOC autistic and neurodivergent students at HBCUs and community colleges at our last CANVAS presentation. At the presenters' request, this meeting was not video recorded, though the notes are available for you to access (see attached).

CANVAS presentations will resume in August. More details to come.

In the meantime, we invite you to join Dr. Brandsen and me for a two-part working group on attrition and dropout in autism research! See details below and in the attached flier. To participate, you must register in advance.

Navigating Attrition and Dropout in Autism Research

This is a collaborative, 2-part discussion on attrition and dropout in autism research. Session #1 will provide a brief overview of the topic and related research, followed by a discussion on barriers related to or experiences with dropout/attrition. Session #2 will be focused on potential strategies to mitigate barriers and create more accessible research processes.
