On behalf of the Postsecondary Education: Autistic Collegians’ Experience of Success (PEACES) study team, I want to encourage you to consider spreading the word about our research study that honors the holistic lived experiences of autistic college students. One goal of this study is to create a publicly-accessible national database that will provide information and resources on autistic students’ experiences and ways in which postsecondary education institutions can support them. Over the last 3 years, nearly 1,300 students from more than 150 institutions have participated in the PEACES Project. This year is our final wave of the study, and we hope to reach as many eligible students as possible with this final push.
We kindly ask if you may support our efforts in sharing study information with autistic students in your networks or, at the very least, individuals who are directly connected with them.
Students are eligible if they are enrolled in an undergraduate program at a U.S. college or university, and identify as autistic (formally or self-diagnosed).
Study participation is voluntary. Students will first complete a quick screening tool to determine their eligibility. Here is the link: http://bit.ly/4mo4eij
Following successful completion of the survey activity, eligible participants will receive a $25 online gift card. We will begin processing the gift cards following completion of the current wave of data collection; distribution of gift cards may take a few months thereafter. They will also be asked about their interest to participate in an interview and photo elicitation activity, which would entail receiving an additional $75 gift card if selected.
For any questions you may contact our team at CED.P...@msu.edu
Thank you for your time and efforts to support the PEACES Project!
