I am a Lecturer at UC Santa Barbara and I am working on a study regarding opinions on and use of common goals and strategies for autistic children from the perspectives of ABA professionals (BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs). I am reaching out to see if you could share this study with your networks and colleagues. Below is an advertisement which includes a link to the survey. Please let me know if you have any questions.
There are a variety of behavioral interventions used for children with autism. Researchers in the Department of Education at UC Santa Barbara are recruiting ABA professionals to share their perspectives of and experiences with common behavioral intervention goals and strategies. This will help us understand what is currently happening in the field and what are relevant stakeholders' opinions on these intervention goals and strategies. The study consists of an online survey that will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The survey includes a list of statements about common intervention goals and strategies. Participants will be asked to provide their opinions and experiences with these items. Additionally, there are some questions about neurodivergent individuals. Participants can choose to stop participating at any point during the study.
Potential participants must be an ABA professional (BCBA, BCaBA, or RBT) who is currently working in the field of behavioral intervention in the United States.
