efficiency-wise there is no difference, since Ergo translates the arithmetic expressions into prolog anyway.
Creating a prolog module just to do calculations would be
cumbersome, however.

How well ErgoAI would work for use case that will require numeric calculations? I am looking for solution that can do both: create rules and reasoning and do calculations. The regulation/rule part will decide and describe what calculations needs to be done.
