Missing VCRUNTIME140.DLL: What to do

When installing ErgoAI on Windows, some people get the "Missing VCRUNTIME140.DLL" error.

This is usually the result of a Windows mis-configuration caused by a failed upgrade or a failed program install (of something other than ErgoAI).

Make sure you don't rush to download this DLL from a random place on the Internet, but follow the steps prescribed by Microsoft.

An installer for the missing DLL can be downloaded from Microsoft at  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685. Install both the x64 and the x32 bit versions of the DLL.

After this update you will need to restart your PC.
