Dear members of the MVD wg,

As requested during the last wg meeting of 09 February, I have reached out to Christiane Reves to :
○ Inquire about phase 2, and understand how many and which languages she was envisioning for the pilot phase.
○ Ask if/how she could help the group on the landscape scan.

Christiane kindly agreed to share with the group her proposal for phase 2:

She let me know she currently has nothing ready regarding the landscape review beyond what's in the proposal.

For the languages, she indicated:
 "the idea was be to do "OPI" (Oral Proficiency Exams) with AI in different languages.
Currently, OPI tester are available in the following languages:

Official ACTFL OPIs are currently available in the following languages (but are subject to change):

I don't know in which languages AI has speech-to-speech functionality. "
