Slack's Pro plan is getting an AI upgrade
We are updating our free and paid plans to make your team's workdays more pleasant and productive. The Slack Pro plan will include some AI functionality, and Business+ will have advanced AI functionality. All plans now have enhanced security features and access to Salesforce integrations. There are no price increases to the Pro plan.
What does this mean for you?
You are a member of a workspace currently on the Slack Pro plan. The following capabilities will be added to your Slack plan at no extra cost:
- Get up to speed quickly with AI-generated channel summaries and huddle notes
- Embed your favorite AI assistants, like Adobe Express and Workday, to work alongside you in Slack
- Enforce security policies with built-in native device management
- Collaborate around CRM data with built-in Salesforce integrations and Salesforce channels in Slack
AI features will be enabled by default for your organization on July 17th, 2025. To manage AI permissions before then, simply go to the Admin settings in Slack.
AI features may leverage generative AI. Slack does not train generative AI models on Customer Data. To learn more, review our Privacy Principles.
