The Colorado State Revolving Fund Eligibility Surveys Are Open!
We are excited to share that the 2026 Drinking Water and Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund Eligibility Surveys are now open! As local leaders and water managers in Colorado municipalities, counties, districts, public water systems, not-for-profit water systems and other special districts, you are encouraged to participate.
Conducted annually, the survey is the first step to accessing Colorado State Revolving Fund (SRF) dollars. To be eligible for funding, entities must complete the annual eligibility survey by June 30, 2025. Completing the survey ensures your community is listed on the 2026 SRF eligibility list – a required step before applying for a SRF loan.

Why This Matters:
The SRF program provides low-interest loans (up to 30-year terms) and grants for water, sewer, stormwater, and nonpoint source infrastructure.

The eligibility survey is not a funding application – it’s a planning tool that helps CDPHE Water Quality Control Division identify infrastructure improvement needs throughout the state and ensures your project can be considered for future funding.

Communities that do not complete the survey will not be eligible for SRF financing in 2026. Awards of any funds are subject to completing the SRF funding application process and meeting all SRF requirements, and awards are subject to funding availability and applicable caps or maximums.
