Hello Commissioner Stephens,
In preparation for the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County’s Lifesaver’s Gala taking place on September 30, we are creating a short video celebrating the impact of the Imagine Zero initiative started 10 years ago and Rachel Olsen-Towlen’s extraordinary leadership throughout this work.
As a trusted partner in this work, we would be grateful to include your perspective. Please respond to any questions that resonate with you—you do not need to answer them all. We welcome whatever you have the time and availability to share by end of business on Friday, August 14.
  1. Complete this sentence: “Because of Rachel’s leadership…”
  2. How has Rachel’s work influenced suicide prevention efforts in Larimer County or across Colorado?
  3. What quality has Rachel brought to this work that has made a meaningful difference?
  4. Can you share a story, experience, or moment that illustrates Rachel’s dedication or impact?
  5. What would you like Rachel to know as we recognize her contributions and celebrate ten years of Imagine Zero?
Responses may be excerpted for the video or related recognition materials. By submitting your response, you give the Alliance for Suicide Prevention of Larimer County permission to quote or excerpt it in the recognition video and related event materials. We will include your name and organizational affiliation unless you request otherwise. We may also contact you for an on-camera interview, following our review of written responses.
If you have any supportive photos, event or meeting flyers, proclamations, news clippings, or other visuals that help illustrate Rachel’s work and the history of Imagine Zero, we would be grateful if you shared those as well by the end of business on Friday, August 14.
Thank you for helping us honor Rachel and the lasting foundation she has helped build.
Warmly,
Nikki Lucas
Vice President of the Board
