Hi,

I hope you have enjoyed these couple of days since leg session wrapped up. Thank you again for all of your heavy lifting.

As you probably remember me saying, passing the bill was the easy part. HAHA! Now we move to next steps. I would really love your thoughts on a few things:

  1. We need to meet to discuss the SNAP cost share and budget implications. I think there are a few ways to tackle this work. We can keep the band together and work with members of the Gov's team. We can solicit for new county representatives to continue this work. We can advance a combo of new/returning people. Either way, I think we need a meeting soon. For what it is worth, I think it makes the most sense to keep this group working on this, but I would love to know what you think.
  2. As we think about the implementation work group, what type of staff from the state makes the most sense? Do you think Division Directors (Abby, Sarah, Ian) or the more senior folks (Minna, Rachel/Josh, etc) would be the better fit for the implementation group? Again, my thoughts are Abby, Sarah, Ian (as the implementors), but I would love to know what you think here, too.
  3. Would you be able to meet with the Gov's staff (Charlie and maybe Eleni) this Friday to talk about the SOW for the Third Party?

Please let me know your thoughts ASAP.

Thank you!!

Hi Kelly,

I can continue working on some of these issues and I am open to meeting to discuss the SNAP cost share and budget implications. I am also open to meeting with the Governor's staff this Friday to discuss the SOW for the Third Party. I am all for keeping the band together.

Best,

Kristin

Kelly,

To your questions, I am available this Friday from noon to 1:30 or 2:30 - 4 PM. Also, I am fine with either keeping the group on this, if others feel the same way.  To your other point, I am torn on state reps.  I feel like Abby, Sarah, & Ian might be the better fit, but I am open to others suggestions?

Regards,
Michael

HI

Happy to keep the group together. On Friday I’m available from 1pm on.  I’m not sure I have strong opinions on the state reps. I think the Directors likely know the answer to that question better than I would.
