| 🚧 Water System Flushing Underway in Fort CollinsFort Collins Utilities will begin annual water system flushing on April 6, continuing weekdays from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for approximately four weeks (weather permitting). Downtown flushing will begin earlier, around 3:00 a.m., to minimize disruption. Crews will work throughout the Downtown area -from Laporte Avenue to Laurel Street and Grandview Avenue to Peterson Street- as part of routine maintenance to keep water clean, fresh, and high quality. While service interruptions are rare, you may notice temporary drops in water pressure or cloudy/discolored water. This is not harmful and typically clears quickly. If needed, run cold water for a few minutes after flushing in your area is complete. For more information, visit fortcollins.gov/water or call 970-212-2900. |
