Resources and Follow-Up After the Committee Meeting at NACo

Dear Kristin:

I hope you are doing well. My name is Anne Turner, and I wanted to introduce myself after having the opportunity to attend your Steering Committee meeting at the NACo Annual Conference.

After spending much of my career in local government, I've experienced many of the challenges communities face in developing staff, managing complex projects, and preparing the next generation of public-sector leaders. Today, I lead innovative degree and certificate programs at Claremont Lincoln University, the university of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, focused on ethical leadership, organizational effectiveness, and strengthening communities through practical, career-relevant education.

I've long admired NACo's work, particularly your leadership in Transportation Policy Steering Committee and I welcome the opportunity to learn more about your priorities and discuss how you're building organizational capacity, supporting staff, and preparing leaders for the challenges ahead.
