Happy 4th of July! I hope you all have a wonderful time as we gather with family and friends to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our country.
Independence Day is a powerful reminder of what makes our country strong: courageous and dedicated local leaders who dared to dream and those who work to continue to protect our liberty and freedom.
As we look forward to connecting with each other at the NACo 2026 Annual Conference in New Orleans, I am deeply grateful for the hard work you put into balancing our counties massive responsibilities. This holiday weekend, I hope you find time to rest, reflect, and celebrate the incredible communities we are privileged to serve.
