Hello Team Henkel supporters!
I'm sending this from my personal email so my staff can concentrate on finishing up our financial reports, etc. I'm writing for a few reasons...
First of all, you are on this list as a donor, volunteer, and friend. And, we are excited to be on the ballot!
Here is a general timeline...we have about 11 weeks!
  • April 18th start canvassing (knocking doors)
  • May 25th- signs distributed (contribute to help us get signs here)
  • June 8th- ballots mailed
  • June 30th- primary voting day...we have Cherry Cricket reserved on June 30th for our primary party and you are invited 6:00-9:00pm
1. This is a grassroots campaign, neighbor to neighbor, not top-down political machine...that said, if you'd like to post a testament to the work I've done locally and at the state level, please do so! Here is an example and feel free to make it 4 sentences or whatever you'd like! Then post on your own social media account, inside a local Broomfield group that allows it (Broomfield moms and Broomfield Neighbors allows some posting), or even help write a letter to the editor if you'd like. We are also making fun short videos as well, so if you'd like a Heidi Henkel sign to hold while you're making something like this, or this, or this, let us know!

2. We need volunteers...HERE is a quick sign up to volunteer! The highest need....we have a canvassing team of 8 or so (canvassing means you just knock on some doors for an hour or two of Democrats and Unaffiliateds), but we will need at least 8 more for this campaign. We are doing canvass launches trainings on Saturdays and Sundays but you can canvass during the week too. Good hours are between 4-6pm weekdays. We also need people to help distribute signs, write letters, and other items too!

That's it for now, but please sign up to volunteer above and would love any testimonies, etc. too. Thank you!

Sincerely,
Heidi Henkel (she/her/hers)
