Would you submit your DNA to a foreign government?

SIGN NOW: Trump wants to force tourists to hand over DNA samples and social media history to enter the U.S. It’s not going to stop there – sign our petition to say NO >>

Jody, imagine you’re planning a trip abroad – but the new rulers of the country you’re thinking about visiting have just imposed new rules: you must submit your DNA, hand over personal information, and even let them search your social media for anything they don’t like.

You’d probably cross that country off your travel list – but that’s exactly what Trump is trying to do right here in the United States.

He wants to require tourists, even from close U.S. allies like the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan, to hand over DNA, facial scans, fingerprints, five years of social media history, and more just to enter the country. [1]

We’ve already seen how the Trump administration misuses this kind of data. Right now, they’re feeding our personal information into massive, unaccountable systems for facial recognition, DNA collection, and location tracking – then using it for God only knows what. [2]

And the timing couldn’t be worse. With the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Olympics approaching, the United States should be welcoming the world – not warning people to stay away.

Sign the Petition: Tell the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to drop Trump’s dictator-like attempts to violate privacy and kill our tourism industry >>

Trump’s proposal sends a chilling message: you’re under suspicion the moment you arrive. That’s not the kind of country I want us to be, Jody.

A multiracial democracy depends on open exchange: people, ideas, culture, and trust across borders.

Trump’s surveillance state takes us in the opposite direction – and tells Americans that we should be afraid of the outside world and anyone who looks or speaks differently.

We can keep Americans safe without turning our country into a police state. Other countries are watching how we treat their citizens – and deciding where to travel, invest, and engage based on how we act right now.

Here’s the endgame of Trump’s war on tourism: empty hotels, lost jobs, and global humiliation. America should stand for opportunity, freedom, and welcoming visitors – not mass surveillance and closed doors.

Add your name now and tell DHS to stop this rule before it becomes permanent and does lasting damage to our democracy and economy >>

Thanks for all you do,
