š ļø Phase II Projects in Design
While construction is underway on several projects, planning and design work continue on additional Phase II improvements at The Ranch.
Projects currently in design include:
- Outdoor Amphitheater
- Infrastructure, Wayfinding, and Monument Signage
- Roadway & Utility Upgrades
- Youth Hockey and Sports Facility
- 4-H Sanctioned Outdoor Archery Range
- Event Center Expansion and Modernization-Blue Arena
- Exposition Center

š§Master Plan Projects in Active Constructionš§

Exciting progress is happening at The Ranch, with improvements designed to enhance events and the guest experience.

šæEvent Lawn
Ā
Crews are building the foundation of this future event space, including grading, retaining walls, and lighting installation.
Ā
What this means for you:
- A new large-scale outdoor venue for concerts, festivals, and the Fair
- Better lighting and built-in power and water access for a smoother event experience
- New seating areas integrated into the landscapeĀ Ā

šŖ Event Plaza
Crews are currently working on power connection repairs, surface improvements, and permanent fencing in the Event Plaza. With some construction fencing now removed, guests can begin to see how this space is taking shape.

What this means for you:
- Easier pedestrian access in select areas
- Better connections between venues and event spaces
- A more open, event-ready hub for guests, vendors, and community activity

Project Complete: Stormwater Detention Pond
Ā
One of the most important behind-the-scenes improvements at The Ranch is now complete.
The new stormwater detention pond is designed to better manage water across campus during rain events, helping protect event spaces and improve overall site conditions.
What this means for you:
- Fewer muddy or wet conditions during events
- More reliable event setups with less disruption from weather
- Better protection of turf and outdoor event areas
- Improved drainage across the campus

š Outdoor Riding Arena
Ā
Fencing is complete, and crews are now installing arena footing, with bleacher seating to be installed next.

- A larger, more versatile outdoor space for equestrian events
- Improved footing for safer, more reliable use
- An enhanced viewing experience for guests once seating is in place
