Legacy of Impact: The Invisible Reach of Keystone

As we wrap up our year-long celebration of Keystone’s 50th anniversary, we’re excited to share the final story in our Keystone at 50 series.

This concluding feature, The Invisible Hand of Keystone, explores a quieter but powerful part of Keystone’s legacy: the impact that continues long after a dialogue ends. Over five decades, Keystone has helped bring people together around complex challenges—often launching ideas and partnerships that grew into independent organizations and lasting institutions.

In this final installment, we highlight how Keystone’s collaborative approach helped give rise to initiatives that continue to shape education, public health, sustainability, agriculture, and community leadership, including:

  • The Keystone Science School

  • The Forum for Collaborative HIV Research

  • The Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council

  • Field to Market

  • The Kwiyagat Community Academy

You’ll also find a companion podcast episode that brings these stories together, reflecting on how collaboration, trust, and shared purpose can create change that endures.

Keystone’s Legacy Circle Continues in 2026

As we look ahead, we’re also excited to share that the Keystone Legacy Circle will continue in 2026. In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more information about how supporters can be part of this next chapter and help sustain Keystone’s work for the future. We invite you to keep an eye out for those updates.

As we close this milestone year, we’re grateful to everyone who has been part of Keystone’s journey—participants, partners, supporters, and community members alike. The challenges may evolve, but the need for thoughtful, collaborative problem-solving remains as strong as ever.

Thank you for helping make this work possible—and for standing with us as we continue to build the future, together.
