CIVIC Conversation
Topic:
City of Fort Collins 2025 Tax Issues

4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Monday, October 27, 2025

Horse & Dragon Brewing Company, 124 Racquette Dr. in Fort Collins

Ballots will be mailed October 10!

Please join us Monday, October 27 to discuss two local sales tax proposals: extending an existing 1/4-cent tax in perpetuity to acquire and preserve open space, and renewal of the 1/4-cent Community Capital Improvement Tax.

Having enjoyed deep voter support over the years, both programs seek to continue a legacy of community investment. Can we afford to continue that support or are the benefits too valuable?

We look forward to having you join us at the CIVIC Conversation on Monday, October 27, from 4:30pm to 6pm at Horse & Dragon Brewing Company and learn about the important changes coming to a ballot near you.

CIVIC Conversations is sponsored by Elevations Credit Union and hosted by the Fort Collins Area Chamber.

Registration is free, but please RSVP.

About CIVIC Conversations

The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce has introduced a civic engagement program specifically designed to expand our shared understanding of issues important to the business community. This ongoing program, dubbed CIVIC Conversations, is presented in person each month. Each session is held in an informal setting at which participants will be introduced to a topic of interest, presented with objective analysis of business implications, and encouraged to share their own perspective and expertise. We are proud to partner with Elevations Credit Union to provide these conversations.
