CCAT All Member Update: Gov Polis Strategic Growth EO Directives

Good evening CCAT Members,

We, want to let you all know that Gov. Polis will likely be issuing an executive order on this coming Monday, directing a number of state agencies to address strategic growth goals and actions, and specific directives to DOLA and Dept. of Housing. The CCAT Governing Board had a conversation this afternoon with members of the Gov’s staff about this.

The GB indicated interest in the effort, asked many questions about the details of how input will be taken and responded to, and how this EO might be tied to upcoming legislative initiatives in the next session. We will keep you informed as we engage on this. Below is the draft we were given on the details that will be in the executive order.

Also attached is a copy of a letter a local Adams County(and regional) group working on housing sent. On this topic of what systems or programs the State could move more efficiently on. As an example.

CCAT Gov. Board heard today from Gov's team that more feedback on the efficiency of State programs on housing will be requested from us in the coming weeks.
