Age Requirements: This opportunity has a minimum age of 16 years old for safety reasons. Anyone ages 16-17 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older. Please do not bring family members or guests who are under 16.
Dress Code: Please review the dress code in the "Other Important Information" section below. Anyone dressed inappropriately for their volunteer shift may be asked to leave and return to volunteer with us at a different time with the appropriate attire.

Fort Collins Rescue Mission
|
Fort Collins Rescue Mission serves the needs of men experiencing homelessness in Northern Colorado through meals, shelter and assistance toward self-sufficiency. Since opening in 2012, Fort Collins Rescue Mission has continued our 30-year legacy of serving people experiencing homelessness in Northern Colorado. The Mission serves men in need by providing access to shelter, meals, spiritual guidance, and life-changing programs like the New Life Program at Harvest Farm in Wellington.

- Address: 316 Jefferson St, Ft. Collins, CO 80524
- Arrival and Parking: Most parking in the area is 2-hour parking. If your shift is longer than 2 hours, you may park in the staff/volunteer parking lot adjacent to our building if there is room. Otherwise, park in any street spot. You may also park on the fence along Willow (1 block North of Jefferson) for longer than 3 hours.
- Check-in: Enter the building by the door facing Linden. Upon arrival, please be sure to sign in at the kiosk tablet. If you are with a group, only one member needs to sign-in for the group. This is essential for us to highlight volunteer contribution and impact. After signing in, we'll bring you up to speed on everything you need to know for your volunteer shift.

Other Important Information
|
Please dress in a manner that is modest and appropriate for working. Please refrain from wearing opened toe shoes, tank-tops, midriff tops, short shorts, and any clothing that is: tight, low-cut, or has controversial imprints. If you are dressed inappropriately, you may be asked to reschedule.
A tip for kitchen volunteers: If you wear a hat (and a pony tail for long hair), you will not be required to wear a hairnet.

Please report immediately to a staff member any injuries, inappropriate behavior, or anything that makes you uncomfortable. Please be aware that many of our guests and program participants are experiencing difficult life situations.

Need to Update or Cancel Your Shift?
|
For Group Leaders:
Group leaders can cancel the entire group online or contact us by email for further assistance. Please also contact us if you need to update the number in your group. You can also enter the final number in your group when you check in to volunteer.
For Group Members:
If you are an individual in a group and need to drop out of your group's scheduled shift, please contact us by email. Do not cancel your shift online. If you do, you'll cancel the volunteer opportunity for your entire group.
For Individuals Not in a Group:
If you're not in a group, you can cancel your shift online or contact us by email.
