Carnation OGDP Application Johnstown and Larimer County Operator Kerr-McGee

I just checked the ECMC permitting page, for the first time in a long time, and see that there is  an OGDP  application for 10 wells in Johnstown with Larimer County as the proximate local government. Kerr-McGee is the operator.

Will Larimer County review the application and provide input? I'm assuming Kerr-McGee has submitted an application to the County. 

CDPHE requested an extension on February 25, 2026 which was granted. The hearing date is rescheduled for June 10, 2026.

"On February 25, 2026, ECMC Staff advised the Hearing Officer that the Director had agreed to extend the consultation period on this application at the request of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, pursuant to Commission Rule 309.f.(2)A. Accordingly, this matter will be continued."

Do you know why CDPHE requested an extension?
